Maharashtra SSC result was declared at 1 pm on 6th June 2016. With a pass percentage of 9.41 percent, once again girls outshone boys in the state. The overall pass percentage of 89.56 percent is dropped by 1.90 percent when compared to last year.

Keeping up the tradition, girls once again leave behind boys with a pass percentage of 91.41 percent against 87.98 percent.  Among the nine divisions of the Maharashtra SSC Board, the Konkan division recorded the highest pass percentage with 96.56. On the other hand, the Latur division registered the lowest with a pass percentage of 81.54%.

This year out of 16,07,411 registered students, about 16,01,406 wrote the exam and 14,34,143 students passed the Secondary School Certificate (Class X) exam successfully.
