Being a parent is being there through milestones, tantrums, and tears. It is about raising kids who have a head full of knowledge, a hand ready to give, ears open to listening, and a heart that dares to follow dreams. Being a parent is never a burden, it is about loving someone wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Parenthood is not a job but a privilege to cherish.

On this happy occasion of Sankranti, the Deeksha family appreciates all the hard work and effort put by its wonderful parents.  We would like to dedicate the song “You Raise Me Up’’ which beautifully captures and epitomizes the wonderful journey that is parenthood, as a token of our gratitude for your immense support and encouragement.

Here are the lyrics:

When I am down and, oh, my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up to more than I can be.

There is no life – no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up to more than I can be.

You raise me up to more than I can be.
