National Talent Search Examination
National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) is a scholarship examination conducted by the NCERT for students of class X. The main motto of this exam is to recognize talented students all over the country and award them scholarship throughout their academic career throughout their academic career for getting the best possible education.

NTSE 2017 Dates and Events Information in Details
The NCERT is conducting NTSE 2017 in two stages. Stage I exam will be held on November 5, 6 and stage II examination will be held on May 14, 2017. Class X students who wish to appear for the exam can start their NTSE preparation and apply for the same. The applications for Stage I can be filled from August 3 till the last date is announced by each state and union territory.
The exam is divided into two papers: Scholastic Aptitude Test and Mental Ability. Each paper contains objective type questions. Each correct answer is given 1 mark. There is no negative marking in Stage I whereas for stage II for each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The exam dates are as follows:?
